The short answer
Elk Glade hosts approximately 6–10 weddings per year, 8–12 corporate retreats, and a handful of family reunions and milestone celebrations. Capacity ranges from 15 guests (intimate milestones) up to 120 guests (full wedding with tent + cabin). The venue includes the historic ranch lodge, the outdoor ceremony meadow, the cabin, the ranch kitchen, and access to the full ranch program — horseback, cattle day, fishing. We quote each event per party.
Four programs
The meadow + the lodge
Outdoor ceremony in the south meadow with the East Beaver canyon as the backdrop. Reception in the historic ranch lodge or in the cottonwood grove tent. Cap at 80 guests for the standard configuration; up to 120 with the cabin add-on and tent rental.
Team off-sites + leadership weeks
Two- to four-night programs combining lodge accommodation, guided ranch activities (horseback, cattle work, fishing), and dedicated meeting space. The ranch lodge has Starlink internet and seats up to 30 around the dining tables. Audio-visual on request.
Multi-generation weeks
Full ranch buyout for extended family weeks — lodge and cabin combined. Custom programming includes horseback for kids, a guided cattle day, fly fishing on East Beaver Creek, and the ranch chuckwagon lunch.
Anniversaries, birthdays, retirements
Three-night long-weekend programs built around a milestone moment — anniversary, 70th birthday, retirement, achievement marker. Customized dinner menu from the lodge kitchen, optional ride-out to a viewpoint for the moment, group photo in the canyon at sunset.
How we run events
Elk Glade is a working ranch first. We never run two events simultaneously — the moment your party arrives, the cattle ranch operations move into a support role and the property is yours for the length of your stay.
The kitchen runs from the lodge. The bedrooms run from the lodge + cabin. The activities run off the existing barn + wrangler crew. Vendor access for external photographers, florists, musicians, and bar service is coordinated by us, but those vendors are your choice and your contract.
Every event is quoted per party. We don’t publish base wedding rates because the variable cost of guest count, length of stay, and program selections dwarfs the base. Send the <200-word inquiry and we’ll come back inside two business days with a structured quote.

External vendors handle photography, flowers, music, hair/makeup, and bar service. We coordinate vendor access on your behalf.
Wedding pricing varies materially by guest count, length of stay, vendor selections, and add-on programming. We quote each wedding per-party rather than publishing a base price. Most full-weekend weddings with 60–80 guests run in the $25,000–$45,000 range including lodging.
Yes. Standard corporate packages include accommodations and meals and break out activities as optional add-ons. Some groups book the lodge for two-day strategy off-sites with no ranch activities at all; some build full retreats around the cattle day and horseback. Activities are scoped at the planning call.
Yes for weddings, family reunions, and milestone celebrations. Corporate retreats default to adults-only unless arranged in advance. Children's programming for reunions includes pony rides, fishing in the lower pond, and crafts at the lodge. Babysitter referrals available.
Weddings book 12–18 months ahead for peak season (June–September). Corporate retreats book 3–6 months ahead. Family reunions and milestone celebrations book 6–9 months ahead. Off-peak weekend availability is shorter notice.
